It’s official, Spring has sprung for 2019!
Springtime in in Mudgee is wonderful, and we are excited to welcome the warmer weather and longer days that revitalise us and give us a renewed lease on life.
We love Spring at Ultimate Care, the Salon buzzes as everyone comes out of winter hibernation and the warmer weather means we can also do what we love best, offering more advanced skin and beauty treatments to our beautiful guests.
The warmer weather also means that our social calendars begin to fill up. The past few months have remained positive and busy, (very busy in fact). The highlight in July was our amazing 15th Birthday celebrations held at Roth’s Wine Bar. Thank you to everyone who came along and helped us make it a memorable event – we loved celebrating with you, and we hope you enjoyed some of our specials and giveaways.
In August we also attended the annual Ultraceuticals conference and skin experts’ day. I was so proud of the professional manner in which Gabby Stait and Emma represented Ultimate Care. As a bonus, Gabby took out the quiz on the day, proving we are defiantly leaders in Skin Expert status.

On the road once more, the entire staff attended our favourite educational event, the Sydney International Beauty Expo (24th & 25th August). The line-up of specialists, business mentors and nutritionists ensured that we gained vital information from all areas of the beauty industry. It was also a great opportunity to enjoy some downtime together.

Awards time is upon us again, and we are humbled by our progression to the next round of the NSW Chamber of Commerce Small Business awards, in the Employer of Choice category to be held in Sydney in November.
We are also proud to have been named a finalist in the Central West Brides Choice awards. This is a new award and is voted by brides who nominate their favourite businesses. We will travel to Orange in September to celebrate the inaugural Awards night.

Last but certainly not least I must sincerely thank Gabby Stait and our entire team for looking after Ultimate Care while Steve and I took an extended holiday, we were able to totally relax in the knowledge that the salon was in very capable hands. Thank you so much girls. X
